Maternity Photography FAQs

Booking & Scheduling:

  • When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?
  • The ideal timeframe for maternity photos is typically between 29-34 weeks of pregnancy. This allows you to show off your baby bump while still feeling comfortable.
  • How far in advance should I book my session?
  • Popular photographers book maternity sessions well in advance. In order to relief stress from your to do list is good to book around your second trimester same recommendation fro your Newborn session
  • Do you offer packages or collections?
  • Yes, i have different maternity packages with varying numbers of edited digital images, sometimes including options for prints or albums. and also bundles with newborn sessions
  • Do you recommend hair and make up for the session?

Hair & makeup are optional, but can be a wonderful way to celebrate you during this special time. Feeling pampered and confident can truly shine through in your maternity photos, creating beautiful memories for you and your baby to cherish forever. At Piligraphy we include hair and make up in some of our packages


The Session Itself:

  • Where will the photos be taken? I have a home studio sessions with controlled lighting that works great and we have acces to all kinds of props, but we can do outdoor locations with natural light or at home session.
  • What should I wear?
  • Wear clothes that flatter your figure and make you feel confident. Flowy dresses, stretchy fabrics, and form-fitting tops that accentuate your bump are popular choices. Solid colors photograph best, and avoid busy patterns.
  • Do you provide maternity dresses? when we had our consultations we will talk about your goals and your inspiration, that will help us decide on your wardrobe, I have some maternity dresses available for use during the session.

Deliverables & Sharing:

  • What will I receive after the session?
  • You'll receive an online gallery that we will check out together , select your favorites and chose the prints or other product available .
  • How long will it take to get my photos?
  • The turnaround time can vary depending on the photographer's workflow, but it usually takes 1-2 weeks to receive your edited images.
  • Can I share my photos online?
  • Absolutely! Be sure to credit the photographer when posting online.

Additional Questions:

  • What happens if I'm feeling self-conscious during the session?
  • As per my experience as maternity photographer I will put you at ease and guide you into flattering poses that highlight your beautiful baby bump we will take time and breaks as need it to make you comfortable as well
  • Can I include my partner or other family members in the photos?
  • Absolutely! Maternity sessions are a great way to capture this special time for your entire family.
